Also - she is more prone to bucking later on in the ride. Sometimes she will trot around working relatively nicely, even having a little canter, for a good 15-20 minutes. Then its as if she decides she either had enough for today, or she becomes tired, and then starts trying to remove the small child.

Ok, so has the vet seen this behaviour? Some problems will only show up once a horse has worked enough to make it hurt. I was recently riding a pony who was developing very bad spavins in his hocks, however he would work nicely for the first 20 minutes, then explode for the next 20 minutes before coming up lame, had to film it as there was nothing to show the vet in an initial assessment. Whereabouts are you op?
