Bucking horses

If a 6 year old sometimes bucks going into canter (say 50% of the time) do you think it will ever become completely reliable? The horse in question has never, to my knowledge, managed to get a rider off. (I dont think it knows that a rider can be thrown off to be honest!), but non the less does put in a reasonably substantial buck or 2. If you push on through it you can then get a reasonable canter. What do you think? Any suggestion how to stop it doing this (keeping its head up is pretty tricky!)

We have one pretty much the same. She is ShirexTB and if not worked every day she finds it difficult to bend and will buck on left canter lead. Her back is fine though and vet thinks its just because she is such a big lump of a horse who should possibly be pulling a cart

Mine used to buck (aged 8) when going from trot to canter when I first got him by age 15 he was hardly bucking at all and went on till age 25 not bucking at all. Loads of riding and nice long hacks will sort him out.

My horse is 13 i have owned him since he was just 7 and he has always bucked and i think he always will! and no he has nothing wrong with him, he has never once bucked me off and TBH has never really tried. He always bucks with his ears pricked and cant even canter across the field without putting in a few so i think it is just him!!!!

PF used to buck under saddle but only does on the lunge now or when feeling very, very well! Even A has mostly stopped bucking (only bucks very carefully now)
C's horse, on the other hand is an unpredictable and violent bucker (rhyming slang also applies!) BUT then again, he DOES need more work and schooling so have hopes for him too.
