Buckland New Forest Pony Stud

Hello

Anyone know of the above stud? Any experiences or does anyone know what they're like?

I have a potential pony to go and look at, a 4 hour drive for me! Just looking for any info really. I have a New Forest pony off the forest who is going out on loan for what looks like a couple of years. I've had him for 10 years, have fallen in love with the breed so looking for another but a little bigger to make 14.2hh so I can go out and compete etc, little too tall for the current one to really make the most of him so desperate for another forester project who will also have a forever home with me.

Someone asked on there and replies are the ponies appear to have fab temperaments and people have commented to say the breeders are lovely.

I have two Buckland ponies, both lovely girls and very talented but very, very sharp. I bought them both from the breeders.

I have 1 here currently and have had a couple of others in the yard, they have never been what I would think of as sharp just bright, talented ponies that enjoy work, the one here at the moment was at livery as a 5 year old to be sold on and was bought in by a livery when he came up for sale several years later.
