Looking for some advice!

Feels like hitting my head on a brick wall trying to find a car under £9.5k that has a towing capacity of at least 2300kg and is euro 6 compliant!

Any advice would be welcomed as I feel like I've exhausted all avenues!

Will be used to transport a 17.1 TB and a 14hh lightweight cob (only 2yo so still growing).

Thanks in advance!!

There are several Ssangyong Rextons that meet that criteria on Autotrader - you need the 2016 onwards, 2.2 litre diesel, it can tow 3.5 tonnes - great cars.

You cannot go wrong with a Hyundai Santa Fe either. Not sexy (although I think they look perfectly nice), 2.5t towing and the ones after 2015 or so are euro 6. Also have a 7 seat option.

Kia Sorentos are similar.

A little more "premium" would be the new shape Volvo xc90s (autos exclusively tho- I still like manuals) and xc60s. Think they tow 2.4. Would only get high mileage if any for that budget however. The older d5 xc60s are grunty but rated to only 2t unfortunately.

You could just about sneak an Audi q5 from about 2015-2017. 2.4t off the top of my head.

To be Euro 6 compliant you need to look for a car that uses Ad Blue additive. A quick search on Autotrader suggests you could find a Santa Fe, Discovery Sport, trucks like a Ford Ranger or an Isuzu. Don't touch a Kuga, Evoque, Sportage, you will be towing somewhere in the region of 2,200kg and that needs a substantial tow car.

Thank you all! Something to go on, I'm going looking at a jeep Cherokee 2016 on Monday. Has a tow capacity of 2370kg which on calculating will just tow them both! I'll Keep looking for the above as well. Honestly feels like a bloomin' minefield it does!
