ok a bit of an update:
buffy was basically continously lame and we wasnt sure if she was going to be ok. well since then she has been fitted with special shoes as xrays showed the angle of her bones inside were totally wrong (on the outside her feet looked perfect), the shoes did the trick but as she was walking differently it was causing her feet to flare on one side and started to cause the coffin joint to pinch. And again a lame pony. More changes to the shoes and more xrays later shoes are now perfect. the vets medicated her coffin joint with steroids last week and she was badly lame at first but has since come sound and has been turned back out with the herd for the past 4 days and is still sound!! she has got the vet tomorrow to recheck but she is still sound today and i cant tell you how happy i am!
just need to see now whether she can cope with any form of ridden work. we are not fussed about the ridden work to be honest because we now know that we can definetley keep her as a pet and she will be with me forever anyway. to top it off vets did a blood test to recheck her liver last week and its now normal!!!!!!!
future plans are to now see if she can cope with ridden work and we are going to put her in foal so she will have a good holiday anyway.
i would like to thank everyone for all the help and support everyone has given me.especially my farrier rob adcock and my vet kate @ lingfield equine i havent had the best of luck but hopefully now ill have some good luck my way.
im such a happy mummy and have the best pony i could ask for she has been a superstar through all her treatment
