I have used both. Initially thought the build & glow wasn't quite as good but after a few weeks it really started to work well and IMO they are both as brilliant as each other both for condition and for coat shine.
The build & glow is cheaper so I am using that now as preferrance but it's not as easy to get hold of.
A member of staff on the D and H Helplne said that if your horse had a tendency to hot up then B abd G may not suit them. I have yet to see a bag even in the vast feed place that I get my feed from, so haven't put it to the test.
But have fed Outshine to both my broodmares this time and whilst originally they had 750g a day which isn't the full ration, now they are holding weight on 250g daily. Both could heat up easily and are 16.2.
That's interesting Chrissie1, my TB mare is very hot and sharp and I haven't notice any difference on the Build & Glow. I'll have a look at the ingredients now though just to be sure as I don;t want to put thoughts in her head!
Haven't tried Build and Glow, but have tried Outshine which put on condition without fizzing them up. (Have to be careful what they are fed as they can get very fizzy if they are given molasses and most mixes)
I’ve used both with good results but eventually settled on the B&G as it is significantly cheaper.
Ive just been thinking about getting one or the other again now.
Does anyone think they are much more benefit than plain old linseed though?
