So a lot has changed, the old barns have been demolished and the site has been flattened. The new barn will be coming in about 2 weeks and I will be ordering the stables on Friday. The arena should be finished in about 2 weeks too! Yay! Cannot wait.

So its gone from this-

oh I'm so jealous, I grew up in Leamington and wish I could move back to the area. Hope the building work continues to go well, and look forward to seeing more piccies!

Blimey! Where did all the junk go?

I won't mince my words here - green, green, green with envy. Well, actually not because before the rewards of a smart setup comes the 'Beirut building-site' phase and unless you have some remarkable workers, organising the construction phases will be a nightmare. I bet it's very exciting though. Have you got clients already? Keep us all updated as it is really interesting.

How long from start to finish?

The yard sounds absolutely lovely, but I can't see any of the pictures - stupid computer / user !?!

I must live very close to you. I keep the horses at home at the moment, but may be moving them to a livery yard in the next few months. When will the yard be finished and where exactly is it? Please pm me if you don't mind.

Thanks.

What an amazing transformation Claire! It really is starting to shape up now. How terribly exciting it must be for you all. I love seeing these updates - thank you for sharing.

Forgot to say the yard will hopefully be ready to open Spring 2008. We started 4 weeks ago with the building but planning took 2 months

I have lots of people interested in coming as there isn't any yards like this around here. Fingers crossed anyway

Right, well I have a serious question for you. How big is your house? Or conversely will you leave a shed standing for me and Tuppence, coz you now have 5.5 peeps coming to live with you - me, B + bump (= the .5
grin.gif
), Hector, Berry and Tuppence - I'm sure there will be room enough

Hello!
I am in Warwickshire with 2 horses at livery and very interested in your yard

What sorts of livery packges will you be offering?

Will you be accepting highly neurotic owners?!

Hehe, well I'm sure theres a space by the bales somewhere

Oh that would actually be so cool...........having B, Hector and unborn B/Ringo here

lol

Move to around here, there must be some stud around somewhere, haha.

Erm, I'm not sure what a PM is

I would be looking for assisted DIY (occasional bringing in/ turning out) with individual turn-out (I can bring my own electric fencing!), ideally 24/ 7 turn out in summer but not essential, don't mind restricted turn out in winter as I know how wet it gets round here.

Do you have any idea of costs yet?
