Because that is a lot to put on a card, you can have the details name / tel / email address and photo/graphics

and then put the services on the back,

I would also get someone to help with the design and layout, unless you are good at that sort of thing

^^ This.

If you're offering an appointments, then it can be useful to have a space to write appointment date/time on the back, so it can double up as an appointment card?

Do remember to leave "white space" not only to be easy on the eye, but so that someone can write a note on it. I handle a lot of business cards in my line of work, and it's so annoying when I want to jot a note on someone's I've just been given, but it's either solid dark colour, or there just isn't any room!

i would have name, address & email/phone etc. on the front and maybe a short sentence/tagline that sums you up and instantly explains to the person what you do/the service you are offering.

then list the exact services on the back. i like the idea of a lot of white space for notes etc. as well. good luck with your venture :)

Thank you guys !!

I have had a card design by a proffesional company (which is run by a friend) The card itself is white with a horse in different shades of pale green and the writing is in darker shades of green.( Green being my fav colour) All the wrinting is one side at the moment so the customer or I could write what ever is needed on the back. as some job could be a trim and others could be week long houe sitting or 3 days comps!

I dont what to put my address on as i could be moving this year possibly twice so dont what to have load more printed if can help it.

I will take the wording so far and have another rejig i think

Please keep the ideas coming!

When I started my business (which isn't horsey) I put all the main information on flyers, which I had professionally printed and then my business cards have just my job title, name, address and other contact details. You could poss. then leave piles of your flyers in various horsey places or even do a leaflet drop - a good way to build up a customer base.
You can design your own flyer using 'word' or similar and just get the printer chap to run off loads of copies (or you could do it yourself of course). I also make my own business cards using a DTP programme which has ready made templates. You may not want to take business away from your friend, but I am all for saving on printing costs!
