bulk buying shetlands?? Is this ad for real??

Hmmmmmmmm. Is it genuine? Tempted to reply just to check. I smell a rat though. It might be one of those transactions where you get sent a too-high cheque and are asked to return the balance in a cheque of your own. Then the original cheque bounces and you're left majorly out of pocket and, possibly worse, with someone dodgy having knowledge of your bank sort code and address, your account number and your full name.

Anyone genuine wouldn't be asking for a shed full of angelic shetlands to be ideal for kids in a riding school!

cant comment on the shetlands bit just the clearing of cheque i dont know anyone who would send cash or a cheque or send horses of until a cheque had cleared would be silly not to

I'd guess the horsemart one was genuine, maybe someone who's bred as a hobby and now needs to give up for one reason or another. Tempted to look up the names on the NED to see if they match up bUt haven't got time right now.

in my experience you would be wasting your valuble time looking for any breeding on NED. over 50% of my horses on there have either breeding missing or incorrect and all but one have registered progeny missing.

i had to pay to look for the information, told them two years ago it was wrong ( even asked for a refund) they have done nothing. mini rant over!

2.5k??

should keep the Dealers away though..

Agree that it sounds quite expensive, but there are 9 of them though. Price wise, I guess it could vary quite a lot, the colts/fillies would normally be cheap but the mares could be worth more depending on the quality, what sort of showing records they have, and if they have been ridden/driven?

The Halstock bred mare would fetch decent money on her own. I've seen serious money bid on that stock!
In the current climate though....not so sure.
