Bulk purchase of Priton, where to purchase cheaply?

We need to buy a load of Piriton (or equivalent) as my friends has been told by the vet to give her horse 28 tablets per day. Does anyone know where you can buy bulk quantities cheaply please?
 
You don't need a prescription, just google "buy piriton 500 tablets" and there are plenty of places....I bought a couple of boxes last year
 
Mrs C - In my friend's cob's case she needs them as she has had an allergic reaction to midge bites despite wearing fly rugs etc. She was bitten all over on Friday and had to have the vet out, steroid injection and 14 Piriton twice a day. They are also good for horses with pollen allergies.

Did you have any luck finding pots of 500? I also need them for my horse who is on 20 a day for a fly reaction. Everywhere I look says out of stock, and I was warned by the vet to stay away from Amazon due to a mass of fake products...

I use hyper drug for a pot of 500 - last time I bought some I think it was about £11 ishh including postage.

You have to lie and say its for human use!

They have been amazing for my mare. She has allergies really badly affecting her when eaten by midges or suffering her grass glands.

Her piriton have stopped it all...with 24 hours it worked and has had same affect on itchy horses on the yard.

I get mine on reach pharmacy website.
 
I have a horse who has bad allergies .. always just go to the supermarket or chemist
I got her in last saturday night and her eyes had swelled up so dashed off to tesco store as the only place open then ...
there were none on the shelf so went to their pharmacy counter ... there were some behind the counter so ask for 4 boxes .. she asked what it was for ...stupidly I said its ok .. have been told by vet to use it on my horse and she refused to hand them over !!!

explained to her I have used it many times and vets told me to give it
Her reply was I dont care ...they are not licenced for horses so now not going to serve you
...I said I hope she can sleep tonight while my poor horse rubs her eyes raw !!
...her reply again ... I dont care your still not having them.

all good though as got some from another super store xx

I had something similar happen when i was trying to buy benzo :eek::eek: and they say honesty is the best policy :D:D

I had exactly the same thing at Tesco! My local chemist are a bit more country and sensible - they won't sell you them unless you say its for a horse!!
