Bulldog boy has the vet on Mon - anyone any good with eyes.

Bulldog boy has a bad eye. Now normally when we go they say its his immune system giving him conjunctivitis but i'm not so sure this time.

For a couple of days his eye has gone from weeping to inflamed to closed and yesterday i'm sure I saw a light circle in it. It is obviously uncomfortable as he trys to keep it closed, unless there is food around and then it definitely remains open.

Any ideas. I'm worried incase its a cataract or something cos he's 8 next year.

Any thoughts

Can you not get to the vet before Monday? I would certainly get my dog there asap (as I did with Skye) Hope it isn't too serious.

Would definately try to get to vets before monday, if he's scratched the cornea the delay could result in permanent damage, he'll usually have a special dye put in that will highlight any scratch under a special light, his eye will look green after that for a while!! But best get it seen to as soon as you can.

I would definitely try and get to the vet before Monday. Its just not worth taking a risk with eyes imo.
