BULLIES ON THE FORUM

Continually annoying/contradicting/upsetting purposfully someone , especially if the bully is seeking them out to do so,is, IMO bullying.
However, disagreeing with them,even if that upsets them is not bullying.
 
Well it looks like the barristers / lawyers are going to be rubbing their hands with all the legal action about to take place. You people have more money than sense if you think that taking people to court left right and centre over petty things like this is a good use for it.

If people are closed to questions and act in ways which RR have then you will be talked about, and yes probably ridiculed if you are as rude and unable to form a cohesive argument as they were.

In regards to sarahgema- i don't see it as bullying, and i agree the vet should have been phoned. I also see that the way it was put was lacking in tact, but that's just the way things go on open forums sometimes. If you post to so many people you don't know about personal events, then you leave yourself open to criticism as much as any other response.

If Shannonbaby had been in a public place and the people on this forum who were indeed ridiculing and bullying her were in the same vicinity they would all have been arrested for menace with intent to harm

statistics have shown that Internet bullying is on the increase and has resulted in serious illness and in extreme cases of suicide.
Maybe that is food for thought to those of you who are on here and participated in the bullying of shannonbaby and sarahgema.

If it was not an offence why did H&H remove the threads.
Certain people need to behave themselves.

H&H removed the threads because Shannonbaby was highly abusive to many members on here with her swearing, shouting and verbal diarrhoea. SHE was the one who broke the T&Cs of this forum. Clearly you didn't see the removed threads ...

Threads are not removed because someone has as you put it verbal diarrhoea , in capital letters . As to the swearing i think that you would agree, that ,if you, like I ,read the whole thread from start to finish ,did indeed contain swear words from many users who are still active on this forum which is clearly a breach of H&H Terms and Conditions.

From her opening comment it was clear that she suffered from Dyslexia. This highly amused forum members hence the bullying.

Well some may have made fun of her, I did not.

What I saw as an overall picture of the whole thread was some people making fun and her becoming more verbally abusive as the thread went on. Perhaps that is her way of dealing with those who poke fun, mine would be to ignore them, not to start flaming and swearing at them. As I see it, each person was responsible for their own words ... some went beyond what was necessary, including Shannonbaby, which, I presume, was why she made a further new thread to apologise for her foul language.

Every individual on this forum is responsible for their own actions and their own words, including new people who appear here in readiness for a fight, and for the 5 years I have been a member, HHOAdmin have dealt with any offending member without bias. If you have viewed this forum for 5 years, it is doubtful your findings will be any different from mine; in that Admin is fair, right down the line.

Shannonbaby's posts were beyond decency, and obscene in their insults to HHO forum members, and lacked any regard to those of us who may be dyslexic.
Studies show, as I am sure Shannonbaby is aware, that people with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties have greater difficulty in reading upper case letters, as the shapes are not clearly differentiated, as they are in lower case.
Despite repeated polite requests to use lower case, Shannonbaby continued deliberately to use upper case, presumably to prevent HHO members with dyslexia from reading her posts easily.

I do hope if she continues to be a member here, that she will avoid such tactics against other HHOers, as I agree with you that it verges on abusive behaviour/bullying.

I was agreeing with Tia saying that everybody is responsible for their own words. The Original Poster in that great big long post who insisted on using capital letters said some appalling things, but so did some more established members of HHO. I am not condoning the behaviour of ANYONE, but the whole thing did get out of hand, and the Original Poster was not entirely innocent as a number of newer members to the forums seem to think.

Just my thoughts.

if you feel bulling is a one off thing what about shannonbaby bulling me then when she was so rude and nasty about me and my horses? i never was rude or ridculed her for her disablity as i am to dyslexic. i think it has all gone to far. if rrr don't agree with us they should stay on there forum. i have been on thuis forum for a little while now and have never seen what i would call bullying (and yes i was bullied at school)

as this is a forum you can't see how someone is writing it, and some times things are interpreted the wrong way. i think everyone needs to sit back and take a moment when reading each reply to think did they really right it as i read it?

so everyone (including myself) needs to take a chill pill calm down and get on with it, at the of the day if you don't agree with someones comment so what its not like you have to live with them.

right i'm off to find that chill pill :P
