My horse came in with a small bump to the inside of his leg, just above the fetlock.
He is not at all lame and isn’t bothered by me proding it. However after a week of cold hosing/icing and no riding it hasn’t improved at all, it’s also not got worse thankfully. Vet seen photos and seems unconcerned . Has said to keep doing what I am and it will go down, but as there has been no improvement I am feeling a little concerned. Has anyone else dealt with Similar? We presume he’s bumped his leg hooleying round the field. The lump is soft and seems a bit low down to be a splint. Absolutely not bothered by it at all. I am giving him until the end of this week and will then be requesting the vet to come out of it’s not improved but wondering if bumps do just take a while to go down?
