Does anyone use them?
Went to a yard a few weeks ago and all the horses were tied up with them. They appeal to me as my horse has, on several occasions, put his head down, the rope has caught on his ears and he's reared up in panic but this doesn't look possible with a bungee tie as they're much shorter.
Although, they claim to be 'quick release'. I was looking at them in the tack shop today and failed to see how this works?!

I just got one of these for the tie up area.

I'm fed up of The Tank breaking his headcollars during a spook or fiddling about with bits of twine

I tied Obi up with it the other evening while I put his rug on.

It's Hot Orange in colour and he completely pooped his pants  Full Arab freak out - snorting, blowing, eyes on stalks and tap dancing

It has some give in it - but it won't stretch so far as to not be useful.....of course - he'll need to get used to it first  :D

I can't use one know, my horse is too intelligent - you might laugh, but she is. If I tie her up she quickly pulls her head to one side to see if she can break free and if she can off she goes trotting down the field. I tie to a rubber thing, forget what it's called, I got it at your horse live. It does break but not as quickly as the bungie.

The Tank just peacefully and quietly leans back until the string/rope/headcollar gives way  Then he just stands there .

He is usually well mannered - but occasionally embarrasses me
