Long story, am getting two rabbits after Christmas. I used to keep lops of various breeds but that was back in the day when a hutch and run was the standard and you fed them multi coloured muesli.
Anyway I have a spare 12 x 12 stable so it's been fitted with a barred mesh door for more light/ventilation. So far I have a wooden sleeping house, a long wooden platform with steps and a digging box sorted. I'm going to add two or three tunnels, a selection of cardboard boxes and some chew branches (we have lots of apple trees). They'll have a rack ray over a litter tray. Mix of straw and Easibed bedding and they'll be fed mainly hay, plus some decent pellets and veg.
Enrichment wise what else can I add? Not necessarily all at once but to keep things interesting. In summer they can go out and graze (haven't sorted a run yet) and they'll have daily access to the yard area while I'm out there, which is all stone wall or mesh fenced. Bunny enrichment suggestions please!
