Are there any? I love this stallion and was so sad when he passed away at such a relatively young age (23). even if there is any semen of his knocking around, there isn't any chance that I could ever afford it - so a son it must be, if I want the bloodline. Other factors are of course important to consider, I'm just really interested. I think it would be a great match with B.

Anyone know? Thank you!!

I have got a rising 4yr old Indoctro. Burggraaf. Nimmerdor Stallion. That is shaping up pretty damn nicely.

OOooooo can I afford him? There would be inbreeding to Nimmerdor there, but far enough back, not to be an issue - he is B's G.Grandsire.

I know that there are different reasons including the frozen semen thing if it a factor but Burggraaf was only being charged at approx £850-860 depening on the exchange rate this season which is very good considering . Only prob is I believe his frozen was in high demand and stocks are now becoming more limited .

I know Jeanette is really good like that and not greedy with her stud fees. As I understand it all Jeanettes boys including Voltaire etc are charged at the price they were when the snuffed it!!! Whether that is going to change if they are running very low I dont know but they do still have lots of Calvados, Voltaire and Wolfgang.

Peppermill is by Burgraaf of course, but he is not at public stud -- and not even graded anywhere AFAIK, so that's probably not much help.

IS HE??? Ooooo I bet when he is offered at stud, it'll be a hugely inflated price though....... Stunning animal with a heck of a pop ...........

Tee hee if you get any tips on lotto numbers pass them over this way!!!

Financial budget allowing I personally would much rather use Burggraaf himself as I feel he has always considered a better broodmare sire

Rosiebee, I am with you I also feel Burggraaf to be a better mare sire, hence why FRESHMAN's stallions would be superb for breeders, with the strong influence of Indoctro onto a Burggraaf x Nimmerdor mare...............love the Nimmerdor blood.......can never go wrong with that at all..........

An excellent mix of proven lines.......

i like burgraff but i think you need a mare with a good mind, squire tregarrion was by burgraff n i know some of squire tregarrions off spring were lets say awkward,

i def agrree with anastacia that burgraff is a good dam sire

Hmmm that's very interesting. Have only met 1 Squire Tregarrion - I never realised that he was by Burggraff. The one that I've met, I wasn't fond of - it's a broodmare now

I can honestly say that none of mine are in the slightest bit awkward or difficult. Veria is so very sweet & easy, Nicol who is direct Burggraaf is as trusting as anything I have met. Even the Indoctro Burggraaf stallion is very easy going & even at 3yrs old will let you sit on his side whilst laid down in the stable. Weird isn't it how different they can all be. Still I suppose people are the same.

I forgot about this link, but it contains some info on all the stallions mentioned;
http://www.team-nijhof.nl/
No mention of stud fees though & I cant get the videos to work for me. I wish I had a mare good enough to warrant the stallions I like!

Stud fees are under the tab "EU Station" . I can't get the videos to work, either. I rather like Clinton, but I suppose thats a bit of an obvious choice, and I don't know my way round the bloodlines.

Freshman......that is whay we mean though by Burggraaf being a good dam sire......i.e. Vera has Burggraaf on the mother side........and Nicol is by Burggraaf which means her foals will have it on the mother side.......if you get what I am meaning.........

We saw several Burggraaf 3 year old fillies last year at Nijhof and they had good mind sets on them considering they were taken out of pens and loose jumped for us............all very similar in type, looks and build and that was out of several different bloodlines.
