Burghley 2022 Showjumping Thread

first round starts at 11pm on Burghley TV.

28 horses presented, Cathal Daniels, Michael Owens and one other rider (I cannot remember the name or horses name) withdrew overnight.

Running order should be on the Burghley website, will see if I can find a link!

We are sat in the grandstands watching and I swear that saddle slipped further and further back during the round ?

Angus Smales got inside the time, but his round was rather hairy and he got 16 jumping penalties.

Time will be a feature for the top places, it's tight. It'll take some jumping.

I hadn't realised that Badminton, Kentucky and Burghley all have the same fence 2.
