Just trying to organise going to Burghley and looking at the ticket costs there's nothing for camping, just caravans, is this correct?

Never been but I am sure I've been told that its 'proper' caravans and campers only at the offical site. i.e. No horseboxes, tents etc.
There is probably a campsite somewhere in the area, have a google.

Yep - definitely no tents - there are campsites around though in the villages nearby. It depends on how far you are prepared to drive. There is a good campsite in my village (showers and facilities) but we are about a 10 mile drive from Brughley. It isn't that far and everything gets booked up for miles - let me know if you want the details and I'll get them for you - you will need to book sooner rather than later anywhere as a lot of people book up year on year.
