Burghley Sponsored Ride - CANCELLED

I have just had a phone call and the sponsored ride at Burghley has been cancelled due to the weather, just thought I would try and let as many people know as possible.

Oh thanks for letting us know, we haven’t had a call so would have turned up looking like right numtpy's!, I have to say I’m not surprised it been foul the last few days. Do you think there reschedule?.

That's odd, there's nothing on the Burghley website saying it's been cancelled?

Two friends of ours are going and they are desperately trying to find out whether this is true or not. I'm surprised that it is being cancelled, but seems a bit confusing at the moment?

IT'S DEFO CANCELLED - THERE NOT ALLOWED TO RE DO IT THIS YEAR, BUT ARE HOPING TO DO ONE NEXT YEAR.......

My post should have read I'm NOT surprised that it is being cancelled - more haste less speed.

Thanks very much for posting this Crackersluvrat and to you re-confirming it Nikki. Our friends will be gutted, but there's always next year!
