Burghley TV, watching on big screen?

Hi all,

Have purchased Burghley TV, but can't get it on the TV via a web browser page or by casting it to TV, phones are android. We watched badminton via web page in TV this year ??‍

Any one got any wisdom as to how to get the action on TV?!

I got it to go from my laptop to my tv by sharing it. Do you have a smart tv, if so go to source then connection guide and it will tell you what to do. Im not a techy person so if i can do it anyone can. You can also do it with a hdmi cable .

Does it work via HDMI cable? MrMM is in charge of this for me admittedly ?

You might have to google how to do it for your tv, on mine I have to enable something (!) then the laptop can find it on the wifi and screen share.
I know it was easier to do on parents Samsung than my Panasonic of similar ages.

ETA It's up and working. Sound and picture quality not great, though. Hope they'll be better for the event proper.

im trying to watch it on catch up on BTV, no joy as yet. Anyone know how long ill have to wait

Not sure how long it'll take for the catch up viewing to be viewable, but allegedly there's a highlights program at 7.30pm each evening.

My tv is samsung and i can get it to share but couldnt get it to link with the hdmi cable so gave up and am just happy i can watch it on tv

I stream from by iPhone to the tv via a Roku plug in , worked very well earlier. Also watch clip my horse tv and badders this way .

If you're not using Apple TV, Firestick, Chromecast or Android TV (and downloaded the Burghley app) you'll need a HDMI cable I think!

I don't have any of the above (or the newer panasonic app that comes up if I google it) so long as both are on the same wifi it works with windows 10 and a viera tv at least as then it is just a screen share.

I haven't got burghley tv (yet) but don't see why it would be different to anything else Im watching through the laptop?

I was posting more for those where simple screen sharing just doesn't work

For anyone who has subscribed, just be aware there's an auto-renewal on the subscription, granted not for another year, but it's there all the same.
