Really good coverage on Burghley tv so far as usual. Love Tina’s commentary in the dressage.
Just wish that Burghley and the Paralympics weren’t on simultaneously, I’m getting goggle eyes watching two screens , don’t want to miss either.

Last year it worked fine on my Samsung tv - this year the Burghley tv site says it may not work - and it isn’t on my tv.

Anyone having any luck watching on a smart tv?

It’s not streaming well using the internet app on my Samsung, but fine on AirPlay from phone to tv

Do we not have a Burghley thread this year for running commentary?! Really lovely test by Emily, thought the judges were harsh. Really cool to see Will at 5* doing well too, I went to school with him.

It’s a horrible tricky and fiddly dressage test for the eventers . Not the usual pleasing flowing test to ride at all.

Should be binned after this.

Interesting. I quite like it. But then I suppose I don’t have to ride it

I thought it was a good test of the riders, in fact the half pass helps set up for the flying change , the worst bit is the walk pirouettes for eventers

I don’t think so. Just the Sunday highlights on BBC2 (I think).

There is going to be a Burghley highlights program on beeb 2 on Sunday. ETA 2pm - 4pm.

Otherwise it’s all on Burghley tv. Whilst it is a pay per view, Burghley tv really is worth it if you can scrape together the pennies.

I’m currently watching the pre-recorded competition preview inc a XC course preview . It’s from before the dressage but lots of interesting comments on the field - strongest ever Burghley field.
