i wouldnt snigger too much boss, until you have been european champion and until you can fix a horse, written off by previous rider and his team as finished and not able to do do more than a two star , within three months. Sadly i think as WEG commitments have taken her away so much Bettina hasd not been able to get as she would like on the horse to build a partner ship and that error looked like a complete miscommunication to me.

But i am glad you admired Skwal he is a marvelous creature and did jumpall the way round Badminton with previous owner who also rode him nearly 'naked' in2003 but got technically eliminated after he had finished. I know cos i was looking after it.

Ive been rooting for Skwal all season after watching him at Osberton. What a horse, and I love the fact the rider rides him how he likes to go rather than force it. (very refreshing nowadays) He is unconventional in the way he goes but what a double clear machine.

beloved skwal was also double clear at Blenheim 2002 when there were only 3 others that achieved the feat.(one of teh other was tankers town and sharon hunt I think!

Midnight Dazzler just made it look easy - with a lovely looking horse with so much talent. After reading the telegraph article have so much respect HM for how he has got a tune.

Yeah I agree-he is a fantastic XC horse. was very impressed by Harry after reading that article ( but how much of that is true, who knows?!)

I helped re-brake Dazzlers full bro as a 6 year old ( le luminiere- keep an eye out for him!) and he was a tricky little minx. But incredibly bold and wonderfull mover. Have since been desperate to get a Cath Dazzler horse one day!

Catherstons are real proffessionals horses as can be sharp and tricky but are so talented if you can get a tune out of them.
