Supposed to be going to burnham beeches today for probably Snoopys last BE event of the season.
Unfortunately mother isnt very well, so we've decided to withdraw.
Snoops mud fever isnt great either, although he jumped smashing last night and had a nice canter too.

Slightly disappointed tho, because i felt we were ready, but hey ho, i wont go eventing on my own with Snoop.

So will enter BCA now later next month and hopefully now get some more lessons under out belts too

Hi Vix - sorry about the news - hope your mum is on the mend! Sarah is there today for dressage. She is going to walk the XC and if she thinks it too much for Merry at present not go back to do SJ and Xc tomorrow (two hours drive!). Merry is a bit of a whimp still and she doesnt want to frighten him.....

Some of me quite pleased we didnt take the trip down there.
The weather has been awful all afternoon

heavy rain and wind.
Went shopping instead and bought a nice birthday outfit for next weekend

although I would have gone eventing...

Turbo, i telephoned SM to see if she wanted to take my slot (all 3 this afternoon) but she'd only just finished at the racing yard

I wasnt due to go xc till nearly 5:30 and i think by then the ground would be like crap anyway.

Damn! And I had been wondering how you were getting on all afternoon/evening. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise, it'll give you more time to prep for BCA and iron out any wrinkles. God help the opposition by the time you've done a month's homework.....
