Burrows under droppings in field - following AnnsGG Post *PICS*

AnnsGG was worried about the burrows under droppings in the field, which we all decided was the Dung Beetle's route up from the ground ... sorry did not find one Dung Beetle to take his photo

... I promised to take some pics so here they are

... you can see the size of the hole, by the size of the clover

The hole is about the size of my 2nd finger (longest finger)

I'm sorry but these are NOT dung beetle holes. They are the holes baby velocoraptors make after they hatch out. Don't go too near the bushes.........................................

I love these little chaps. I remember when I was a little girl and one flew into my hair. I thought a tortoise had landed on my head. They're not exactly graceful in the air.
