bursitis??

My horse has bursitis above her knee. I was told that the tendon had torn down the way and it was nothing to worry about as it doesnt affect the way it works. Had it been across the way it would have been bad. The lump has never gone dwn its a squishy one she has had it for years and never been lame. she hunt jumps 1.20 hack i like to do alot of road work to keep them fit and there legs hard.Never been lame (touch wood).I dont know about it being anywhere else though.
