Anyone been or is going to Burwarton Agricultural Show (Shropshire)?

Deadline for entries is in two days time so I need to make up my mind if I want to go or not. I don't have my own transport so will have to pay a lot of money to hire for the day and I don't want to go if we will be hopelessly outclassed! So if anyone knows about the standard of entries to the M&M class especially I would be very grateful.

I can post old photos of the horse in question if that helps.

I went a few years ago and watched the large breeds ridden as a friend was competing, it was quite a big class, I'd say 15 to 20 and looked to be a high standard. But.. this was a few years back and before I was 'in' to M&M showing. Friend who competed has been placed at Royal Welsh etc if that helps.

Probably not much use to you!

The affiliated showing classes are usually of a normal county show standard. It is a much higher standard than a local riding club show

It is a lovely day out though and we go every year to watch.

Thankyou for the replies

She has only been to riding club shows before but is always placed second or first, she's never been placed lower than that, so I'm hoping that might translate to a rosette chance at least at a county level standard? (Think they do rosettes to 6th!) I'm just worried that being so close to the Welsh border that it will be full of professional Welsh Cob producers and there might be a bit of a clique situation with the judge?

Here's an old pic from a bad angle (mothers do not make good photographers) if that helps.
