WE QUALIFIED!!!! Wohoo!!
We played both Exeter 1 and Exeter 3 (Exeter being last years champions in our class
) so needless to say we didn't think we had much chance!
We beat Exeter 1 (our first game) 2:1 and it actually felt quite easy! It was a really nice flowing game, got some fantastic ride offs, one of which I nearly came off at at the 2 horses reins, bits and out sticks got a little tangles
but it felt great!
To qualify after that win all we needed to do was beat Exeter 3 or Exeter 1 had to be knocked out in their second game - which they were so that eased the pressure as we were through with 1 game to play!
Then we played Exeter 3 who won 1:0 on a penalty! Grr! And that game was horrible - very stop-start, not flowing and the ball seemed to end up stuck between 6 horses legs and not going very far.
BUT the grin on my face is stretched from ear to ear!! I had the most fantastic day, a huge amount of fun and the bonus was qualifying for the National Final
next week!!

Oh and our other teams all qualified too and we completely thrashed one team with about 8 goals to 1!!! hehe
I'll post some pics tomorrow probably as Im shattered, haven't eaten or washed since I got back (only 1/2 hour ago) and am in work from 8.30-12!!
