Buscopan Irritation

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with buscopan that has been injected that missed the vein?

Shouldn't cause irritation. We give it subcutaneously to humans all the time

It does often cause irritation in horses but most settle down within a few days.

Yes!! Last year my pony died as a result of colic...... Not helped by the hugely incompetent vet that came. He injected buscopan into the ponys artery instead of the vein which caused him to have a massive seizure as it went straight to his brain. I was livid!!! To be told "it's an easy mistake for a vet to make" 😡😡😡
