Business insurance on trailer or lorry help needed!

I am trying to find an insurance company to insure me for business use for my trailer - i have been reading on t'internet that i need care, custody & control & commercial hire & reward - is that all i need added?
Does anybody know any companies that could help - i have been phoning round to no avail - any suggestions gratefully received x

are you hiring out your trailer on a self tow basis? or offering transport? if offering transport you will need a certificate in equine transport, an SVS type 1 or 2 depending on distance, and possibly an operators licence. your trailer will also need to be serviced and checked every 6 weeks, as well as 3c liability and public liability, and the towing vehicle will require business use and possibly 6 week checks and servicing. Good luck its not an area that many are going into now due to the regulations. if self tow hire basis then trailer will need 6 week safety checks and servicing.

If you are hauling horses for hire and reward you could try the NFU you will also need a tachograph fitting in your towing vehicle.. if you are only hauling one at a time a 3.5 ton renault based box would be good as no "O" licence or tacho needed....
