Buster Collars?

Dog's been given a Buster Collar to stop the licking BUT (there's always a but isn't there?) the most of the licking he does seems to be at night. He just lays there licking at his foot.

The vet said we can't cover it, so that's not an option.

What do we do? Leave it on before he goes to bed?
He's accepted it really well but I can't see it being comfy when he tries to sleep.

Mine had to wear one for two weeks when he had part of his nether regions opened up and a friend has similar following a cyst removal, they were pretty much on all the time except for eating and they both coped fine.

Does that mean they wore them at night aswell? <dense>

Yes, they really need to wear them when you're NOT supervising them. One dog was caged at night, the other free ranging in living room.

Isabel could remove her buster collar in about 5 seconds :-( I got her a blow up one which she wore for 10 days, only took it off when we went for a walk
