Poor Rose is going to be very busy this week, not planned but brought about by cancellations
Mon/Tues AM dressage (cancelled from last week due to flooding)
Wed lesson with local trainer
Thurs Showing Clinic with Claire Oliver (cancelled from the 16th Feb)
Fri paired lesson in an indoor school (booked because so much had been cancelled because of the weather)
Hoping to hack one day at the weekend.
It's not ideal but I don't like to cancel things as it messes people around and it's their living (hard enough as it is). Rose is still very fit so I hope I have the energy to keep going. Quite excited to be doing so much and will report back. I hope everyone else has a better week than last week which was a bit of a write off for me.

B Fuzzy is actually getting time off as I'm tied to office a bit more this week, tho am hoping if its dry I might get an early hack on Weds and possibly Friday.
Hope you don't get too shattered Oldie, but sounds like a lot planned, hope you stay dry and get to enjoy it :)

Ha I am permanently shattered, it's called old age. I am just checking routes so I can avoid flooded roads but determined to get to AM this week!

Phew. I find going out twice in a row is too much for me! But it takes me forever to get ready n packed etc., no idea why though.

Hoping to up the work for me and the nag now that he’s recovered from cellulitis but the weather is not playing along!

I'm well jealous of anyone who gets to do horsey things during the week at this time of year! I'm either at work or mucking out with half an hour to ride a few times during the week.

This week though I'm taking Thursday afternoon off - got a lesson late afternoon :)

Enjoy your weekday plans everyone!

having stuff to do in the week is the only thing that keeps me going between weekends!

I am hoping to get off to ride indoors at trainer's place tomorrow afternoon. Will depend on how many disasters happen at work between now and then though. other than that only weekday plan is vet for Kira's flu jab on thursday

Unfortunately with a full time job, 2 hour a day commute and 4 to muck out twice a day in this weather there isn't much time for having fun. Summer is easier on me :)

Friday evening, totally knackered and feeling just a little bit smug as the weather this weekend is crap again! Will post a short training report for Wed to Friday. Last night was my book club meeting. and tbh I really didn't want to go as I was so tired. We all ride and have horses and talk more about that than the book! I really enjoyed it though, sometimes it's good to not collapse, watch a bit of TV and have an early night. OH got a golden star as he'd put a hot water bottle in my side of the bed! and given Fatty his last meagre meal of the night! Our next book is Rough Magic by Lara Prior Palmer, mentioned because it might appeal to H&Hs

Oh I got that for Christmas! It’s really good - reminded me a bit of The Wild Other by Clover Stroud in writing style and feel, if not content.
