Just wondered what people thought of the bute alternatives which are on the market now and which ones folks have had success with - I've not used any before and am considering using one!

Bute Free was very good and worked out a bit cheaper than the others. I now use a double strength one which means you feed half as much on my old girl and have found it as good as anything else. Like to think they might be a bit kinder on the insides too.

Hello,

I have used a product called No Bute and it did work but you have to keep them on a high does and it does take a while to get running in the system.

I used it on a 23 year old retired hunter and it helped to keep him being used as a happy hacker every now and then. As he didnt like not doing anything!

Kind Regards

I used to use alpha bute but didn't see amy noticable affect. I've just started using Feel Good 30 Joint + Relief which, on paper, looks very good. We're still in the 'loading period' at the moment but I can see the results and hopefully it will have more long term benefits too.

I am looking after an elderly mare who is fairly stiff and sore at times. After an injury last year she was on bute but it didn't really help a lot. I tried various things and the one that
worked for her was NAF Devils Relief.

Hello,

I really belive in trail and error as all horses are different and responde to different treatments so what works for some might not be as affective for others. There has been lots of good results from different people using different products so maybe you might have to try some of the products and see if they work for you horse?

I really hope one works for your horse :)

Kind Regards
