Hi
My horse needs regular buting/bute - can anyone tell me were I can get best value ? Someone told me that I could get it online! Do I need a prescription from me vet?

Thanks

You cannot buy bute online without a prescription.

Assuming that your vet has advised bute is necessary, they can either sell it direct to you, or give you a prescription that you can use to order on line.

I might be teaching my grandma to suck eggs here but: did you know that Danillon is more expensive than Equipalazone and that Pro Dynam is cheaper than both? yet they do the same job.

Never heard of Pro Dynam, but just looked on line and its £60 for 100 sachets whereas normal bute is £73 for 100 sachets - both are 1gm sachets. Thank you.

I get a prescription from my vet - £6 inc vat and then get it online, think it was Viovet last time £59 for 100 (equiplazone). I just search for the cheapest.

Viovet are currently charging £59.88 for Pro-Dynam and £72.94 for Equipalazone.

Thank you Zuzzie! My mare is on 1 sachet of Danilon/day as she has arthritis in her neck. I will look into changing to Pro-Dynam as it's so much cheaper and obviously does the same job.
