What’s correct?

Should/ can an adult wearing Tweed wear one for ridden or in-hand classes. Mainly condition and turn-out, Veteran and riding horse type.

Also is there anywhere one can read about showing rules and etiquette?

Many thanks.

I guess that’s no then :D thanks all.

Any answers to the second question - where are all these rules written or is it something handed down through showing generations?

You could look at some of the showing societies websites as they sometimes have guidance or look at the photos in horse and hound mag. At local level main thing is clean and tidy and simple. The photos from Royal Windsor are on 1st class images so you can look at turnout for different classes/breeds etc. Generally for showing for adult classes it is tweed. Navy just for hacks or evening performances.
