I would stuff the bloke!

Go and see and get the price reduced if that helps. Once its gone its gone! Would love to find a horse I knew the history of rather than the unknown

Hell yes id go against him you get one life be happy in it. My other half tries to put his foot down every so often. but he knows im deaf

Reading your post my response is if you can afford the horse do it. That's partly because if I could buy back my old mare that I sold prior to going to Uni I would in heartbeat.

Your OH has his own horses, having two each is neater.
