Would you buy a horse the has previously been treated for Sarcoids?

No. Purely because of the cost of treating them if they come back. A history of juvenile warts wouldn't bother me, but confirmed sarcoids would.

No, my boy developed sarcoids 1 year after i got him and i have now been managing them for nearly 2 yrs and one has just come up where is girth goes...its heart breaking
Some horses can have one and it wont change/spread for years and years but you just dont know.

To me would depend on if it was a really good horse for a very reduced price.

yes. i dont have a problem with sarcoids. Apart from showing they dont affect the horses performance unless in an area that would be rubbed by tack. Ive worked with lots of horses who have had sarcoids and ive never seen them grow back.

I would and have!! My horse had them in between her back legs and one the size of a tennis ball behind her girth area! Had an op to remove the big one and creams for the ones on her legs, 13 years on and not one of them has reappeared!
They don't affect performance unless they are in an area where they are going to rub, eg saddle/bridle area.
