Buying a broodmare pony as a project...

....what would you expect to pay for 14.2hh reg SPSS 10yo pony that's been used as a broody although has been backed as a 4yo. Good confo, nice paces, smart girl. If you were purchasing as a project what would you aim to pay?

Just a rough guess and with this currant climate i'd say about £200-£500
But like I said just a guess!

As a project to resell not much more than £500, there will be a lot to do to make her valuable when you come to sell on as she will have no miles on the clock which will hold her value down, that said if she is smart she could be a useful type once ready to go to a PC type home.

I would say £500 too unless she was exceptionally smart and well bred, in which case she may be worth more as a broodie!

Not sure how many foals, not had one last year so guessing 3/4 max.
