I got my 6 yo 16.3 IDxTB from Kelmscott Farm a few years back, might be a bit far but after being let down by numerous mad horses and failed vet horses we went from Herts to there (its Surrey/Sussex border) and found our boy there so it was worth it.

Its only a small yard, but of the 4 there now they have 3 that might fit the bill dep on budget? The proprietor Carolyn is v experienced and would be able to assess likely suitability.

Theres 16.2 11yo
16.2 5yo
and 16.1 11yo

Prices of them from £3.5 to 7k (the 3.5k one weaves a bit but is by Kuwait Beach and grey!)

pics of each are on LH menu too when you are on that page

I've got a nice 16.2 Grey 7 year old gelding for sale that I havent advertised yet but is a TB so not chunky.
3 things out of 4 can't be bad though!

I know of a very nice 4yo TB colt in northants. He's just started showing under saddle and is as quiet as a lamb (falls asleep in the ring LOL), done East of england etc this year. Safe in traffic, safe to hack, not spooky. He's just about to start jumping, but his breeding is impeccible and there's no doubt he'll do well. Been professonally schooled etc... oh, and can be gelded if buyer requires.

Downside?? He's only 15.2hh but carries a man easily as he's got the build.
