Possibly. It's a case by case thing.

I had one who had a mild case of lami. Once. Not had it since and has been about eight years now. Very mild case.

I've also known one who had it a number of times and lived a miserable life as his owner was too worried to let him have even a sniff of grass. The vet basically said that if he gets it again then he will need to be PTS.

I would buy back the first pony in a heartbeat if he needed a new home. The second pony you would have to be mad to consider.

I wouldn’t want the stress I bought a horse that gets fat of air lucky no lami But it’s worries me one day it will happen .
