Buying a pallet of shavings

eurrghhhhh the weather is grim. Where is the best place to buy a pallet of shavings? NOT bedmax. Anyone seen any bargains yet?

Not shavings but I’m loving Unibed rape straw. It’s not like chopped straw which I hate but almost a cut closer to wood chip.
Someone on here recommended it last year and I really like it £280 delivered (not sure if that’s everywhere) for 36 bales

I used to use Buildbase, the had the stable choice shavings and were very reasonable. Not sure if they still do them.

Horse cannot go on anything straw based

I used to get a pallet of Hunters from Tittmus they trade online as equisupermarket and are normally the cheapest around here, they stock a huge variety of shavings and bedding might be worth a look.

I tried to buy a pallet of Hunters from Titmus last year but as Hunters are always in short supply they would only sell a whole pallet to existing bulk buy customers. I bought Hunters from them at the weekend but the maximum you can buy is 5 at a time. The 5 bales limit has been in place for over a year. They may be able to supply other makes of bedding in bulk though.

They do pallet pricing through titmuss bulk orders and delivery is currently £20 if you buy a pallet of anything. Don't know what their delivery area is for pallets though.

Yes I got mine through the office at tittmus I didn't pay a delivery charge though must be a fairly new thing.

I like the Aubiose - chopped hemp.

Lovely and soft for the neds. Breaks down well in the muck heap.

Though not the cheapest so has that as a drawback.

I use Purebed, £6 a bale collected from the factory. They will deliver for a charge, or you can collect/send your own carrier.
