Buying a second-hand horsebox help please

I know someone who drove brewery delivery lorries. They often did 750,000 miles before they were swapped. A well looked after commercial lorry with high mileage is usually considered a better bet than a lower milage lorry which has spent many years as a horsebox, not being used or serviced as often. A bigger engine 7.5t will be in better nick than a van conversion which might be underpowered for the loads it is now carrying.

( I also checked - my 7.5t is 7m - just under 23' long. Built like a blooming tank though so the payload isn't great :/ )
