does anyone use a website primarilly to buy their horse supplies? everytime i take the trip to my local (which isnt that local) tack shop it just seems to get more expensive each time!

can anyone recommend a good online store, or have people found it's not worth it due to postage etc...

thanks!

I think for feed you need to have a large order to make it worthwhile - maybe if you were getting feed/shavings/hay from a feed merchant or a couple of liveries clubbed together. Its one of the reasons why Simple Systems sometimes turns out to be expensive (as you have to order something like £60 of feed to free delivery).

I order my supplements online though as it is much cheaper. I use www.mileendsupplies.co.uk as there is free delivery on orders above £60 and I get wormers etc from them as on average I think they are the cheapest. They are also really nice and if they havent listed the supplement you need, they will order it in for you and even add it to their website for you!
I have also used Eileen Douglas.

I also use www.mileendsupplies.co.uk very efficient with deliveries. Most feed merchants will deliver if the order is big enough. Depends where you are based, we in Essex have quite a few good merchants who deliver and there is also a company called GJW Titmuss who deliver nationwide so long as you have 40 items, they do feed, supplements and bedding.
