Is this stuff ok

Our little pony that we bought for my grand daughter is being a bit naughty. He can be an angel in the morning , when he comes in after a night out but if we try to give her a ride in the evening before he goes out in the field , he can be a monster. We lunge him first and if he is a monster he just arches his back and really bronks and bronks. We then just lunge him until he settles and take him back to his stable and she just has a little sit on in the stable.
They are both young , her nearly 3 and him 4. He walks over plastic, carries plastic sacks full of straw , is a saint when he is good but as she is so young we need to be careful.
I thought I would like to break him to harness to give him more work , this set seems cheap , would it be ok for a bit of exercising?

Yep, absolutely agree (wonder if that ebayer knows a pony harness will not normally fit a donkey

)

The leather is just awful awful stuff, this webbing can just be washed and thats it. Plus it's a lot stronger. Email the ebayer as im sure they had loads of different sizes. I have Pony and Cob sizes.

Please, please, please never skimp on harness! I would never buy leather harness online, theres just too much chance of it being faulty. I would possibly buy branded stuff such as zilco, or something on a recomendation as above. Its just if harness breaks you WILL have a much bigger accident than if you are riding, you have a vehical, a groom plus whatever passengers and other road users are there. Sorry but you can't drive on the cheap.
