I have been reading lots of the H&H posts recently and finally braved diving in to ask a question.
How much would you expect to pay for a decent (ie sound, with good confirmation) 5 year old with a little life experience but ready to go on?
I'm looking and looking at the moment and can't find anything suitable within the South West/Thames Valley area at the moment and wondered if I was being unrealistic about my budget. I'm not looking for a world beater mega horse, just a nice one which could make top end riding club/affiliated dr/sj if I want to, and I'm happy to produce it myself as long as it's not a nutter. But it's like finding hen's teeth at the moment - especially a sound horse. They're either very young/just been backed or older than I want or had some terrible injury or lameness.
