A very kind member of the forum sent me a link about purchasing omeprazole a while ago but my inbox has lost it .

Can anyone tell me how to get omeprazole online?

(without giving me a lecture on the legality.....it's not illegal to share information......plus it's not for me ;))

I have a months supply of the stuff. It cost about £120 quid. The gastrogard I have had to use since being diagnosed while at RVC for ulcers is approx £1000 for a months treatment!! Outrageous!! Abler is fab and fast delivery too.

If friend wants paste, tell them to get the Stable Pack - five individual doses in one bigger syringe, works out much less than the syringe-per-day packs and as you can keep each opened syringe for up to 28 days when opened, fine to use for just one horse :)

Criminal! I actually think its criminal. Plus my last order of gg from my vet was £390 for 2 boxes, 7 syringes in each. A month later and they have gone up, apparently by £75! £75 mind you!! Who puts anything up that much!! More fool insurance for paying out these prices. Some will say these drugs cost a fortune to develop but if they can be sold as cheaply as they are in other countries there really is no excuse. Omeprazole is a cheap drug. It is used by the ton in humans. Its a scandal and think how many horses go untreated because people are not insured or insurance wont pay or has maxed out!! Sickening, but I believe it goes generic in this country soon so maybe prices will come down a bit!

Have a look at Coligone. It's the same as human Gaviscon. Comes as an aniseed syrup for emergency use or a peppermint flavoured powder for maintenance. Works out at about 50p a day. Excellent stuff!
