hi going to buy a AXIOM 600D RIPSTOP 180gm TURNOUT COMBO RUG 6'0. for my horse he is 68inches but is only 2 1/2 yrs old so 6'3 would prob be too big, so going to get 6'0.
this seller on ebay has 100% feedback and has sold thousands of them, but why is all without tags? i dont care just windering that they arent a cheap copy, but then he/she has 100% feedback so should be ok. what you all think, also the med rug should be warm enough for him as he gets a great winter coat naturally, just think the heavy one will be too warm on him. any way what do you all think.
thanks

If its "ridelouk" I've never noticed or taken note of the "new without tags" listings, have had loads of rugs from them and they have always come as brand new in packaging. Very good value. Go with the feedback and your instinct!

hi thanks amillion for replys. yes it is ridelouk think i'll go for it. sizing is so hard for me, as he keeps moving when measuring but i've measured him about 20 times and nearly all time its 68 inches as he is only 2 1/2 yrs old thats why was thinking 6'3. but i'll just have to buy him another when grows out. just dont want tight. havent bouth a rug in years and i means years as my horses get great winter coats just want it for him as he had skin problems this summer. thanks again for replies going to get it, 6'0.

My axiom rugs are fantastic, just wish I bought more when they were really cheap . If they have 100 percent feedback, go for it :)

Yes I got all mine when they were starting at 99p, I think I paid between £20 and £30 for them - I wouldn't personally pay 40 or 50 as they are at the moment - on ebay you could get a 2nd hand Rambo/Fal/other well known brand for that price, but then I'm stingy!

I would get what fits him now and admit you will have to buy lots of rugs as he grows ... if he's a bit weak and young then putting him in an oversized rug might lead to problems of it slipping and rubbing. The Axiom rugs come up pretty much bob on size wise - and I've used them loads on TBs and they fit well (don't think they would be so good on a broad shouldered bigger horse)

I've got a cob and the Axiom rugs fit him perfectly!

he is 15.2hhs at min and growing, he is a coloured sport horse but is strong would be built like a irish draught but abit narrow at chest as he is only young, but has a thick neck as he is a colt. so will get 6'0. thanks again everyone. price is £40 and postage to northern ireland is £8 but dont mind as seems like a good rug also getting the one with a neck so will keep him warmer and help his mane grow long again.
