Buying something horsey...

I feel the need to buy something! Trouble is, I don't really NEED anything...but in this cycle of buying feed and 8 more large bales of hay arriving on Sunday, I'd like to buy something that isn't really a necessity....

Sure, call me frivolous but heck...! Fed up of this rain!

Suggestions please! (but not TOO expensive... :p)

Depressing isn't it? I got a £1600 vets bill in the post this morning, and have feed and 2 heston bales of hay coming tomorrow. I really want to buy an HKM Majestic saddlecloth for Alf, just because I want one, and I'm grumpy about all the necessary expenditure. I am resisting though!

My suggestion. An Ultimate hoofpick is not necessary, but unbelievably fantastic. You'll never want to use a standard hoof pick again, and they have to be ordered from the US, so it feels special! http://www.ultimatehoofpick.com

so ok you have a herd so 1 more wont make a difference and hello september as been gone 5 months now so nope no excuse. Buy a horse then we can droll at photos and you can buy stuff. WIN WIN situation for all in my eyes
 
On my list of 'things to buy when I can afford it/can't resist not spending any more' I have

A saddle bag
Sheepskin seat saver
Synthetic endurance saddle (plus all the matchy matchy stuff to go with it, obviously!)
Leather head collar with diamantes
A better head cam than the one I have

And after reading the current thread in the tack room - MANUKA HONEY!


Does that inspire you in any way?
 
I have a massive urge to spend money I don't have of expensive horsey things we don't need. I think we need an accessories anonymous.
