Buying used clippers!

Looking at a pair of heiniger progress clippers. They are c.4 years old and have been used for 6 clips a year (3 horses x 2 clips). Serviced a year ago and used for one clip since. I’m wanting them for my 2 horses. Buyer wants under half price. Not bought clippers before and worried about buying used so any thoughts appreciated.

If you can get sight of the dated invoice for the service to prove that it was, indeed, done on these clippers then they sound like a good buy .

They are very good clippers I have had my progress for about 17 years and I clipped people's horses for money when I first bought them, they are still going strong never had a problem with them, I would advise that you only buy Heiniger blades as there are cheap copies being sold and they are rubbish and could potentially ruin your clippers and your clip.
