Ok so there has been lots of mentions about the Collars that give a shock for barking dogs...

But I have it in my head that you can get the same sort of thing.. but instead of zapping it just squirts water etc...

Am I going mad? Or is there such a thing?

Anyone know where I can get one?

OH's dog barks briefly when he is let out into the garden... as he once chased a fox off his property so now it is his 'job' to do it every time and it's driving OH mad!! He doesn't want to use the shock collar.. so your help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys. xx

What about a good old fashioned water pistol? you can now get updated types that litterally squirt a jet stream.....

This one is a lot cheaper but makes a high pitched noise rather than using a spray:

Anti Bark Collar

You'll probably find plenty of others if you do a Google on "anti bark collar".

My dad used one for one of his Springers. Works perfectley - they dont have to use it now. It just sprays water in the dogs face. I can find out where he got it from if you like? Theres no way my dad would have spent £80 - hes a skinflint!!!!

have you tried ebay?
our dog trainer uses them very occainally as a last option
i have seen them and the results are great the one she uses delivers a puff of air which you recharge after a few uses you have a key fob with a button which you press and it them sprays the air out it works at great distances i saw a german pointer who was in full play with 4 other dogs shoot back to owner as soon as it was sprayed try putting a wanted ad on eaby you may be able to get a second hand one
hope this helps you a little
