I'm attempting my first ODE in about 13 years and my horses first ever! Getting a little nervous now, it's far more exciting than our usual stuff which is Dressage!!

However from what I've seen, it's a lovely course so I'm sure we'll be really enjoying ourselves once we get there :)

Yes lex2501 are taking my horse and really looking forward to it :). Chestnut TB, Lex is tall and blonde and I'm unmissable because i'm 8 months pregnant! Don't be afraid to say Hi if you see us. Good luck!

394 - Dressage at 13.30!

Hopefully I'll get a chance to say hello!

We'll probably get there with loads of time to spare as there are 2 of use coming in my trailer so with limited storage space we'll have to get super organised to avoid any crisis in between phases!

What class are you in? We're in the Novice. Will say hi if I spot you!

Fence judging and hanging around taking photos after 1.45 depending on weather/ they need me for any jobs! So say who you are and I'll try to take a picture on the cross country!

Good luck! :)

It's the 90 class, not sure what they have called it? Need to get the times actually!! Better do that! X

MerryVB at this rate you are a sure in for the helpers caballine trophy. Keep up the good work ;) :D

Will look out for you all, if cold/wet will have my e-venting jacket on so will be easy to spot :)

Good luck all and please be nice to all the helpers as have had a challenge finding enough that weren't already competing!!

It's crazy how many pleas have happened this year, never remember this many requests for helpers! However I have volunteered at every cross country for last few years so might of just not heard because of that.
Shame at times because you feel guilty when you can't help out - one day I would like to be competing again but know how many helpers are needed so no doubt I would help rather than compete!

Know a lot happening this weekend for shows around hampshire I had like 4 options if I wanted!

Yep we have one doing 70cms - you wont be able to miss him, 18hh coloured! And ive got one in the 1m class.

I was there and was very impressed with the organisation. Only downside was there was no pro Tog but other than that great organising!

I had a lovely day. I made it round the XC which was my goal, and in fact was flying by the end. We made a couple of green mistakes in the first half as he gawked at everything. But flew all the trickier fences on the second half and he seemed to get more and more confident as we went on!

I'll definitely come back as it's such a lovely friendly event.

And I never did get your real name Santa Claus! Sorry I didn't have time to say more than hello, but time was tight in between the phases and I was some what puffed by the end! :)

I managed to get everyone (but one I think!) photos on the cross country course! So will give a link over when all downloaded onto Facebook.

Was on Sunken road for 3' and start of 2'6 then on random little skinny roll top after step up in 2'6 and then the water for the 3'3 (got some fantastic shots for that class!)

Was fence judging so the set up for the photos are the best but sure you guys would just be happy to see some!

well done Merry, once you have them up will share on the BVRC FB page as well as there will be many wanting to see them.

Will see if I got anything decent (doubtful from where I was standing to be honest) and upload as well. Definitely got some of Burtie ;) :D

apologies it's an awful photo Burtie but multi tasking as steward plus standing in worst place in arena for light was never going to work in my favour! ;)

Sorry Burtie none of you, tried to remember but suspect I was being bombarded with questions and doing tack checks at the time so didn't have chance!
